Catpurra: Singapore’s First Cat Adventure Club
Catpurra Cat Care did a soft-opening for Singapore’s first Cat Adventure Club, at the end of last year. Now, fully operational and going ahead full steam, the facility is giving cats a taste of the wild outdoors inside a cat-proof environment.
Located at 767A Geylang Road, the nature-inspired playground adorned with recycled materials, enable the cats to traverse across hand-crafted tree branches, or hunt and pounce on the in-house play toys.
For the more adventurous felines, they can try to summit the volcano-inspired lava mountain overlooking the entire facility. After hours of fun, the cats get to lounge in a cosy private treehouse.
Adventure time is rather exclusive as it is not shared with other household cats. And, for hygiene reasons, the area is sanitised after each play session. The Cat Adventure Club also comes with thematic hotel cabins: the largest being is a four-tier maze cabin and, all come with a private rooftop.
“Our goal is to provide cats with the opportunity to get their adrenaline pumping by simulating their physical and mental excitement by letting them experience a unique touch of the wilderness in a stress-free environment,” said Sufia Hasbullah of the Catpurra family.
Catpurra Cat Care, a family-owned company founded by experienced cat caregivers, also offer services like after-care medical assistant, in-house cat grooming, vaccination and sterilisation done by its pet clinic partners.
