Science & Cats

The March school holidays was the purrfect time to take part in the Pet Lovers Junior Club, Science & Cats virtual session.

Conducted online via a virtual workshop due to the Covid-19 phase 3 restrictions, some 42 children accompanied by their parents took time off to find out more about the care and adoption of felines.

The Cat Welfare Society (CWS) members were on hand with information aplenty to assist the young enthusiasts. Pet Lovers Centre took centre stage with a talk on Cat Facts: Behaviour by its pet care consultant while Cat Café Neko no Niwa provided the perfect background for the workshop. Neko no Niwa did a learning presentation on cats and an introduction to their resident cats too.
 
World Science Publishing Co (WSPC) collaborated in the event with storytelling and fun science facts. They offered a 10 percent discount to customers for books purchased at the event. In addition, book sales revenue for one month were also donated to CWS.
  
All proceeds from the registration fees for the one-hour event were donated to CWS. CapitaLand was a partner in the event too.
