Pets Picnic Party 2016 returned with a bang at picturesque Sentosa Cove! Despite the wet weather, more than 500 people and 250 pooches gathered for an afternoon of fun, games, food, shopping, and mingling. The afternoon kicked off with a weekend market, where picnic participants swarmed to the various booths for a spot of retail therapy. Handcrafted jewellery, glamorous pet collars, and customised pet portraits were just some of the merchandise available. Other activities throughout the afternoon included an adoption drive by Save Our Street Dogs (SOSD) where seven Singapore Specials were up for adoption, entertaining games that saw furry ones pitting their “skills” against one another, and a ‘Pup-tor’ booth for pups to make new friends. The furry participants and their paw-rents even had complimentary Polaroid photos of the “matchmaking” session taken as keepsakes. Humans filled their tummies with scrumptious Thai fare from Gin Khao, while furry ones tucked into delicious options from JerHigh. Offering a fun-filled day out for the entire fur-mily and a wonderful time of bonding, Pets Picnic Party is the event that paw-rents most look forward to every year.
