Buckle your seatbelt, ‘cause October is about to get more paw-some! Back in sunny Singapore for the fourth year, the 2017 Women’s Tennis Association (WTA) Finals is bound to have you at the edge of your seats as the top eight women Singles players and Doubles teams battle it out on the court.

During the action-packed week (October 22 to 29), tennis-themed activities will also be happening in the heart of the city at the satellite festival at CHIJMES, as well as at the fan village at OCBC Square.

In light of WTA Finals, Backstreet Boys will also take to the National Stadium for an exclusive one night concert on October 21.

Apart from the exciting action on the court, our favourite tennis stars have also doubled up as proud paw-rents. Here are two WTA players and their adorable furkids that we simply cannot get enough of!

1. Venus Williams & Harold The Havanese

Meet Harold, the grey Havanese that faithfully accompanies Venus Williams to tournaments and training sessions every now and then.

He is usually found watching the matches under the shade, while catching a few rays in-between water breaks. We all know how tempting bouncing balls are, but Harold is careful never to run on court and distract Venus. What a good boy!

2. Caroline Wozniacki & Bruno The Pomeranian

When it comes to being photogenic, Bruno is the paw-fect furkid to run to for some cute Insta-worthy shots. The Pomeranian puffball’s paw-rent, Caroline Wozniacki, is among the top eight on the Porsche Race to Singapore leaderboard and has earned a spot in this year’s WTA Finals.

When she is not practicing on the court or working out in the gym, Wozniacki teaches Bruno to respond to commands in English, so anyone could tell him to “sit” or “stay” when he does get to follow her to events.
