Post-Bath Run-A-Rounds
“No thank you!”
Pooches that do not enjoy bath time as much will tend to speed off after in case of another shower.
Think of it as their way of saying, “no thank you”! As soon as you open that bathroom door, they see it as an opportunity to ‘escape’ and get away from the big scary shower head. Try catching them and they will take off in a different direction in fear of another bath.
“I love it!”
Got a pup that loves taking baths? If you’ve nodded your head in agreement, then you’re one of the lucky ones!
Furkids that love water are usually in a good mood after a shower, and may run around simply because they love the feeling of getting wet! This puts them in a playful and joyous mood, and they just can’t wait to run around to tell the whole world how happy they are.
“This feels weird!”
During a shower, your pup may experience different sensations and sounds such as running water, the feeling of soap on their body, and this could cause them to feel odd.
Once bath time is over, your pooch may try to dry himself in ways that he knows how—by running around and rubbing his body on any piece of furniture that he can get his paws on!
“It’s finally over!”
Bath time can sometimes be stressful for Fido, especially if he is afraid of water and the noisy dryer. Running around could simply mean that he’s finally glad that shower time is over and he is relieving himself of the stress and celebrating!
