For fancy Fido: the world’s most expensive harness?
If you’ve got a little (or a lot) of cash to spare, give your pampered pooch something to brag about with this canine harness. American luxury lifestyle brand Brikk has teamed up with Buddy Belts to put a fancy spin on their popular harness design. The ultimate doggy fashion statement piece costs a hefty $6,995 and is handmade with a black stingray leather exterior and soft lambskin interior. The stunning hardware is 24k gold plated, and features over a carat of sparkling diamonds all over, and on the buckle.
The shape of the Lux Buddy Belt Dog Harness is ergonomically designed. The accessory was inspired by the founder’s dachshund, which gagged and coughed when on leash collars. This is slot in through your pooches’ front legs, and clasps with a single button on his back. This way, it is secure and supports the neck and bodies of our beloved furkids. It launched last week at the Global Pet Expo, Orlando, Florida, and is already available online.
Love the idea but find the price tag ridiculous? No problem. Buddy Belts’ regular range of harnesses feature the same design, just made with more affordable materials. They are available in both genuine and synthetic leather to suit different needs and budgets.
