Vampire Cat
Lazarus the rescue cat may look a little strange at first, but not only is he a superstar on social media websites like Vine and Facebook, he also works as a therapy animal, while spreading the word about helping other animals in need – particularly those with special needs or deformities.
Now two-years old, Lazarus was rescued at only 10 weeks old, with a missing cleft palate, which led to an infection of the mouth and made him severely ill. He was nursed back to health by his caretakers, and now is a loving companion to his family and others in need.
He now resides with Cindy Chambers, a special education worker from East Tennessee State University, with a myraid of other therapy animals such as cats, dogs, and even a horse.
