International Guide Dog Day: Act Now & Donate!
International Guide Dog Day (IGDD) is an international day of celebration on the last Wednesday of April. It celebrates the work guide dogs and their professionals do for people with visual impairment. In Singapore, Guide Dogs Singapore (GDS) is commemorating the event with a campaign that runs from March to June.
The organisation is appealing for donations during this difficult period. Your donation will enable them to provide hardship relief, independent skills training, and guide dog mobility services to the visually impaired.
Tote Board (Singapore Pools) and the Government are providing the organisation a $1 for $1 matching for the donations raised through the campaign. This means that with every $100 donation received, they will receive another $100.
