The horrific killing of a dog in Florida has gone viral on social media, stirring feelings of anger among animal lovers around the world.

A reward of $3,000 is being offered for any information that may lead to the arrest of Fox’s deranged killer. Fox is a sweet Pomeranian that was severely beaten to death in Florida, and a sinister note was attached to his body that was nothing short of chilling. Accompanied with an angry smiley were the words: “We beat it to death! Lol. HAHAHA!”

Within minutes of being found, the 13-year-old furkid was taken to Saint Francis Animal Hospital, where veterinarians were aghast to find Fox with 10 broken ribs, missing teeth and a fractured spine. His owners, Verline Bartheleny and Ronald Boisvert, have since been inconsolable and the former even went so far as to express fear of  venturing beyond her home lest the perpetrator “takes it to the next level”. With the killer still at large, her feelings couldn’t be more justified.
