From talk show host Ellen Degeneres to her BFF Selena Gomez, almost everyone who’s someone has been on Taylor Swift's stage.  While most of her guests are famous pop stars of the now, in her recent show in Los Angeles, she decided to pull a little #throwback—she sang with Lisa Kudrow, who played Phoebe Buffay in the popular 1994 to 2004 American sitcom, Friends.

So what song did they sing? Of course, they chose none other than Phoebe’s iconic on-screen number, entitled Smelly Cat. In an interview with Reddit, Kudrow shared that she had a hand in the making of the cute song. She said, “I wrote the tune, and had a little help from Chryssie Hynde. She was amazing.” Needless to say, once videos of their feline tribute hit the internet, it went viral.

The charismatic duo strummed their guitars, with Kudrow beginning the song. When it came to Swift’s verse, Kudrow jokingly interrupted her in the spirit of good fun. She said, “I’m sorry. That was good, but you have to really feel the lyrics.”

Thank goodness Swift is a cat lady—she has two cats, Olivia Benson and Meredith—if not, this spectacular performance would have never happened!
