Goodbye to the good boy, Spencer

Last Monday, singer Robbie Williams and his wife, Ayda Field, announced the loss of their furkid, Spencer. The video montage that Robbie posted on social media platforms showed Spencer happy, and well-loved by fans worldwide.

Our heart broke upon seeing Robbie Williams’s announcement of the loss of his Labradoodle, Spencer, on Twitter. Robbie sent out the tweet on last Monday (28 September), with the following messages:

According to hellomagazine.com, out of Robbie and Ayda’s nine furkids, Spencer was their favourite. Earlier in September, Robbie created a YouTube video dedicated to Spencer, where he cited that he “always had a big heart melt for Spencer”. He added that his favourite fur pal was visibly ageing and made sure that he joined them on his most recent tour--the Let Me Entertain You tour.

The singer shared a sweet and touching YouTube video montage dedicated to Spencer one day after his passing. It was easy to see how Spencer’s life was intertwined with Robbie and Ayda’s lives just by watching the video. With the singer’s song, My Way, playing in the background, the montage showed Spencer living his life out to the fullest--meeting and greeting fans, playing, travelling and joining Robbie on stage, on tour, and even on his private jet. The video has gone viral, garnering over two million views on Facebook and over 70 thousand shares. The video was also posted on Spencer’s very own Twitter account, @goodboyspencer, which has over 9000 followers.

The pets team send our deepest condolences to Robbie Williams and Ayda Field for the loss of Spencer. Spencer lived a full life and will always be remembered by fans all over the world. He has crossed the rainbow bridge. Goodbye, and good boy, Spencer.
