Tune Into Dog TV

TEL AVIV-JAFFA, ISRAEL: There is a canine-friendly television channel designed exclusively for dogs. Called DogTV, the programmes contained are divided into three separate categories (Relaxation, Stimulation and Exposure) to meet a dog's typical daily cycle and enrich their environment. 

It is the first of its kind, brought about by Israeli based PTV Media. According to General Manager Beke Lubeach: "Content is delivered in short three-to-six-minute segments" that reflect the typical hound's unique hearing and vision attributes. While elements like colour blend and contrast may seem unusual to us, they are designed to appeal to our cold-nosed companions. 

Just like a walk, the channel exposes your dog to new stimuli, but in the form of images and sound.
