Miracle Pup Born With Six Legs

The vets say she is the first of her kind to survive, and many have dubbed her "a miracle."

OKLAHOMA, USA: This Australian Shepherd/Border Collie mix born in Oklahoma, USA has six legs and two tails! 

Skipper was born in a litter of nine in mid-February and despite the apparent abnormality, she's completely normal, says the folks at Neel Veterinary Hospital.

According to a Facebook post by the hospital, she has a congenital conjoining disorder and was part of a pair of twins that did not entirely separate in utero. 

The vets say she is the first of her kind to survive, and many have dubbed her "a miracle." However, she may require physical therapy and help with mobility in the future. 

In an update on Facebook on 24 Feb, Skipper has also caught the eye of Milk-Bone who has supplied her with a lifetime's supply of treats, and who is helping to cover her veterinary costs.
