An animal protection activist (L) gives a “free hug” to a passerby at an event to promote animal protection on “Jungbok” day in Seoul July 29, 2010. “Jungbok”, second of the three dog days or one of the hottest days of the year by lunar calendar falls on Thursday, July 29 this year. Traditionally, people in the country eat food that is good for rejuvenating the body and increasing their stamina on “Jungbok” which includes dog meat.
