The bunny-themed holiday has always been one about celebrating new beginnings. This year, Save Our Street Dogs is holding a canine adoption drive to do just that—help abandoned dogs find loving homes to begin newer and happier chapters of their lives.

Before the adoption drive this Sunday, the dogs were given an Easter-egg Hunt as a treat! For the first time, the dogs ran around Bishan Park, hunting for colourful decorated eggs and delicious treats. Watch them sniff out the hidden goodies here:

Come for our Easter Day adoption drive!

Easter is coming! For this adoption drive, we try to inject some "easter-feel" and mood to it. Prior to the drive this Sunday, some of our dogs went on an Easter Egg Hunt at Bishan Park where the drive will be held. It was their first time hunting for eggs, and treats. We have to say, despite all the distractions (dogs, birds, people) they managed to find at least one egg that had treats in it :)The reason for Easter Day is a reason of Hope and Second Chances. It reminds us to embrace Courage and Hope, and not to give up even in the face of the most relentless trial. On this Easter Day we reach out with hope for our street dogs, for their chance of a forever loving home. Their chance of adoption also means a second chance for another homeless and voiceless street dog out there still waiting to be rescued. So do come down and support our dogs THIS SUNDAY-5 April 20151 pm to 5 pmCornerstone Cafe, Bishan Park 2, 1380 Ang Mo Kio Ave 1.Donate $10 and above, and you will get one of those hand decorated Easter eggs made by one of our volunteers. If you are unable to welcome a new pup into your home, don’t fret! There are other ways to help. You may make a cash donation of any amount, and for donations above $10, a hand-painted Easter egg will be given as a token of appreciation. (Psst, these eggs are filled with yummy dog treats!)

As many as 20 rescued dogs will at Bishan Park for the adoption drive, so please do go down to show your support and share this with as many friends as you can. Remember, always adopt, don’t shop!
