Ruff Traffic
Crazy congestions and long, mind-numbing waiting times… we are all too familiar with peak-hour traffic. On the morning of 22 April, in Abington, Scotland, the roads were congested as well, but for a hilarious reason—Don the Border Collie had driven down the highway in his owner’s mini-tractor.
Don’s owner, 77-year-old Tom Hamilton had left Don in the tractor as he went about his duties on his farm, and it is assumed that the Border Collie had leaned on the control buttons, thus starting the tractor and “driving” across the farm, crashing through a fence and onto the highway.
As the traffic built up behind Don and his tractor, and police were dispatched to the location to stop the tractor. Traffic Scotland then tweeted:
Don and the tractor have been safely returned to his worried owner. The police have reported that no one was hurt in this incident, but it’s safe to say that Don’s driving days are over.
